Scale and gauges
- an overview on our modular layouts
We have developed several standard for modular layouts
for different gauges and prototypes.
All have in common single track operation with prototypical
discrimination between operators running the trains
(engineers and conductors) and operators running the
railroad (Station masters, yardmasters - in Germany
the prototype dosn't have despatchers)
- H0(Europe),
H0m and
H0e - 1/87 = European
(actually mainly German) prototype
In the most popular scale we have the most systems on offer
- the narrow gauges are fully integrated.
In recent years we have experienced a development
towards more acurate scale dimensions.
- FREMO:87, truescale
H0 modular system - based on Proto:87
- H0(USA) - 1/87 =
north American prototype
- H0m(RhB) -
1 /87 = Rhaetische Bahn/Ferrovia Raetia -
State Railways of Graubünden - the modular system
with inclines according to specific situations on the
Rhaetian Railway in south-east Switzerland.
- 0, 0m, 0e - 1/45 = European prototype - modular
system in association with the international
"Arbeitsgemeinschaft Spur 0 (ARGE 0)"
- N -1 /160 = European
(in praxis mainly German) prototype
- with strong emphazis on finer tolerances on wheels/rails
standards.
- TT -1/120 - we just started
to develop a modul system in this scale
